Started reading through this thread and realized I didn't even have a decent profile shot to represent the 2.5" Bilstein setting and 2" Toytec Superflex coils. Snapped this shot this morning...my measurements show that the back is now about 1" taller than the front. I am really liking the new ride and ever so slightly different stance from the spacers that I swapped out. Based on what I hear about SAW coils, you will get an almost identical stance and similar ride.

Just had Bilstein 5100s (x4) installed on my 2013 SR5 4WD. Fronts set to 1.75 with no rear coil spring spacer. I was looking for improved handling and a more level stance. Prior to the new shocks, the truck sat 2" lower in the front. New shocks set at 1.75 raised the front end almost exactly 2 inches so she sits nice and level now. The improved handling is tremendous, the BFG 275/70/17s look much more proportionate in the wheel wells and overall I am extremely happy with the results.

I like your set up, I think it what I am going with.
How do the 275/70/17 BFG's fit? Do they rub at all?
How is the ride with the Bilsteins set at 1.75? Would the ride be worse with them set at 2.5?

You have excellent taste! I have a similar setup and am very happy with the changes. I put 1" spacers in the back and haven't made time to put in some Deaver rear coils that [MENTION=96409]Canazes9[/MENTION] tricked me into buying. If I don't get it done in the next couple of weeks, I'll wait until spring.

I have the fronts at 1.75 and just ordered the 1inch rear spacers. Trying to get a little factory rake back

They do not rub at all. The ride and stance are right on, for me. If you go with the 2.5 setting you will definitely need spacers or different coils in the rear to level you out. 1.75 in the front with no spacers got me almost dead level but towing anything substantial with people and gear would probably sit me nose-high. I personally wouldn't want to sacrifice ride/gas mileage just for the extra 3/4" setting. And I would imagine new UCAs would be required too.

finally getting mine done tomorrow, having local shop install.

Got mine done, I could feel the difference before I left the parking lot. on the road feels like everything is firmer and when I hit bumps it doesn't feel like the the tires are dribbling like a basketball.
and all the little motions that used to make me seasick are gone.
