Fitment question
I’m calling all the dealer around my area. They say it does not fit. So how are we doing the installation to make it fit on a 2017 4Runner TRD OFFROAD. I was planning to buy the kit. But hesitant about the fitment and on the installation. I just don’t want to waste my time with returning the parts back. I was thinking about buy it on EBay. Any advice???? Part number PTR13-35140 right? Hopefully you guys can help.

Not sure if he can. Thought about it then also what if something happens while cutting into shock body? Hmmm. I’ll ask him se if he can just cut the groove to the 2.5 lift height (7th groove)

I still show that my order status is "Ready to Ship" I have received no direct communication from Olathe that mine requires a VIN or has been moved to backorder. I'm still hoping that I'm in early enough (2/23) that I'll get mine. Sounds like 2/24 might have been the cutoff when Toyota figured out they didn't really want to put these on sale. I don't want to call and bug the guy at Olathe again. But I probably will mid next week if I haven't gotten an email from them.

I own a 2014 TR5 4runner, and I'm going to pull the trigger on a kit once its confirmed it can be installed on a 5th gen.

Not sure about you guys, but my ocd would not allow any of these kits to be sitting in my garage and not be thrown onto a rig ...I know we all have lives and others things going on but I imagine I would be sitting there staring at red coils and silver Bill’ies and twitching with anticipation. Good luck to all of you who got in on the kits- I can’t wait to see how they work out for you !!!
Mine came in on Thursday! When I go to put them on, since the front have 2 settings, do I put the drivers side on the higher setting and the passenger side on the lower to offset the lean? Just want to make sure I assemble them correctly so I don’t have to take it all apart and fix a mistake. I’m assuming both front shocks and coils are the exact same and not specific to a side? I didn’t see any markings when I took them out

Yes..... drivers side is upper clip (higher setting) passenger side lower clip to compensate for lean. Otherwise both fronts are identical. Post some pics and let us know your before and after center hub to fender measurements.
Curious to see if everyone else installing these will be re-using the top portion of the stock coil over or if they’re purchasing new hardware I’ll wait for install pics before attempting mine.

Yea some were in the main box and some were taped to the inside lid/flap of the interior boxes. None of them had a top hat though. That big round piece is the spring seat that sits on the adjustable ring at the bottom.

I ordered new top coilover plates from amazon for 21 bucks each. They were KYB. Not worth the hassle removing and reusing old stuff as well as old coil bushing/isolator. Go check amazon fellas

O!!! Received my kit!!! Damn it’s beautiful! I did have a issue tho. Received the box with damage. Also the box to the rear shocks in the box were damaged. Items looked ok. I did wanna take precaution so I called Olathe Toyota to make them aware because what if something starts leaking or whatever. They said they notated it and refunded my shipping costs because of the issue.
