Did you have any lean having the clips on the top setting?

Driverside is 1/2 lower.

If I had the passenger side set on the lower clip it would sit level.

I may go back and adjust it.

If people are still looking, partscontainer on eBay is selling them without needing a VIN. Apparently they have a bunch in inventory. You do pay a little more though.

Toyota just called! My shocks are no on the way after hi-jacking a vin from auto trader.
Summary: about a two week delay if buyers are required to supply a vin number.

This is a follow-up after I got a PM from [MENTION=112764]headpaneer[/MENTION].
The difference from what is my build photos to the actual location of the reservoir is a 1.5" difference.

The location of the reservoir will obviously be different depending on mounting applications and clearances.

Only required if you don't re-use the stock strut "hats".

Yes they will for sure. It’s the only ones they sell that will fit the pro and 6112

Just got my kit! Ordered the evening of 2/23 from Olathe. They were supposed to be delivered on Saturday 3/10 but my roommate was asleep (thanks bud) anybody have a part number for OEM Toyota or compatible top hats? I skimmed back over the thread but didn't find anything...

I just ordered a set on ebay for 569. Waiting on shipping confirmation, but the purchase confirmation came from a Toyota dealer email account. Toyotaparts online also had then but I would call first to ensure they are in stock and not just drop shipping from somewhere that actually requires a VIN.

If for some reason mine requires a VIN, I'll just find one somewhere.

Edit: Just got a notification it shipped and is due in on the 23rd.

Original height from the center of the hub to the fender was RF 20" LF 19.5", after install they are RF 21" LF 20.5"(both clips on top setting)

Nose dive is much improved and the over all ride is a lot better, still have the clunking noise at slow speeds over certain bumps. I was hoping after it was aligned it would go away.
My guess is its the sway bar but haven't had time to look into it.

The clunking noise was due to a loose swaybar arm, 1/4 turn on the nut and all fixed. :jump:

Can someone take a measurement before and after on the rear? Mine seems to be a little higher but didn't take any measurement before the install.

search CL. go to autos by everyone and search FJ VIN. lots of results return with valid VINs

Got my shipping confirmation today, woohoo! Can't wait to get rid of the sloppy suspension. The timing with this post could not have been better, I was getting ready to spend almost as much on just a set of 5110s (can't lift much due to height restrictions).
