Surprisingly I was just able to order a kit from my local dealer for $515.
My local dealer was cheaper because online dealers charge like $550 + $60 to $100 for shipping.
I should be able to pick it up Tue.

It will work.
The only issue is those of us with KDSS are missing threading in the reservoir mounting hole.
See post #230 for an easy solution to that.

Got this kit in the mail from ToyotapartsDeal.com, $626 shipped.
Zero questions on VIN.
Buddy came over at around 12:00pm yesterday, and we wrapped up everything at 4:00pm. Both of us having never done a suspension swap before.
The install PDF from Toyota previously posted is extremely helpful.
Just take your time and follow the instructions listed.

Overall, extremely happy with this, considering the price point.
Nosedive isn't completely eliminated, but is far improved. Its likely that the front is far more stiff and takes more force for the nose to dip down, combined with the fact that it resets drastically better. Body roll is far more predictive and is notably subdued.
Unsure what my previous or current numbers are. Might do that after it settles some or after the alignment on Thursday.

You should pay no more than $573 list price. Sounds like it’s better for you to buy online even with the high cost of shipping if your local dealers are greedy.

Does anyone sell a 3" ID x 15" front coil spring with a spring rate of 550 to 600lb? The spring would need to have the flat ends too. I want a 2" lift using this FJ TRD kit and this size coil spring would be perfect without having to use a spacer. I know Dobinson's is working on a 2" TRD front coil that would be perfect, but that probably won't be ready for sale until Oct or Nov 2018. I have a 2018 SR5

So are the front coils in this FJ Kit 13" or 14" long? And are they 550lb or 600lbs? I think it was mentioned both ways early in this thread but it seemed like it was just a guess. I was hoping if someone officially knows now.
Also how long and what is the spring rate of the 4runner kit (PTR13-89160)? I'm trying to get a comparison.

FJ TRD springs are 14" long ( because the spring perch is 1" lower on the FJ TRD shock. The 4runner TRD springs are 13" long. FJ TRD spring rate 600lbs, 4runner TRD spring rate is 580lbs ( I think).

So it seems the FJ TRD is better than the 4Runner TRD setup because it gives more travel and slightly more lift with the longer and heavier spring?

I bought this kit a couple of months ago and will probably not use it. Will sell for what I paid - $575. Pick up in Doylestown, PA or OCNJ.

I've been running this suspension for a couple months now. I'm now debating removing the front swaybar to improve the offroad ride quality. It seems like it is composed enough to handle running without. Would love to hear feedback from those that have removed the front swaybar.
