Just finished installing my kit. Complete setup is FJ TRD Kit (driver side set on higher clip), Wheelers/Daystar 1.25" TA3273 front isolators, and Eibach Pro Lift 1" rear springs. I gained exactly 1.1" in the rear and just under 2" in the front. This allowed me to retain a mild forward rake, which was my goal since I tow a boat frequently. It measures 1/4” higher from the ground to the frame rails in the back than it does in the front, basically a level ride despite what the fender height might appear. The Eibachs at ~215lbs spring rate also give me about a 10% increase for the rears to help with towing and to complement the front spring rate.

First impression for ride quality is that it is much more composed and controlled over bumps. Where it used to become very unsettled and wallow over bumps in the road, it now recovers from those bumps more quickly (higher spring rate) with little to no drama (better shocks). This lift is worth the money, trust me.

UPDATE: I've had the kit installed for almost 2 months and it has settled nicely. The front isolator/ spacers have compressed slightly, so the front has settled probably 1/4". Ride quality is still better than stock. Nose dive is reduced, and quick maneuvers are more composed. I'm considering adding some 10mm top plate spacers to gain back 1/4" to 1/2" in the front, but I'm in no rush.

I just installed my kit today. I disconnected the KDSS front swaybard one side at a time and didn't have any problem re-connecting it.

Ordered mine today from local dealer. Said they were backordered but put the order in and will call when ready. $570, not willing to pay any more than that (just upgraded to bfg 275/70/17 ko2s before I saw this thread, lol). Anyone have an experience with them being backordered?

They aren’t in production anymore so there would be no backorder. Maybe they are just ordering from the warehouse.

I’ve read the entire thread (I think, may have missed a few pages). I ordered the 13-35140 kit from frank motors on eBay on 6/7. 575 plus about 29 in shipping to my AOR. No vin required. eBay page said it was the second to last one they had. Shipped 6/8, currently en route. Just picked up my new ORP in white yesterday, fresh off the boat with 1 mile on the odo.

Thanks for posting all the information guys. I’m very new to this stuff but looking forward to the install. Still undecided on additional lift, and tire size. I’d like 2” of lift with a slightly larger tire, but still unsure if that’s possible and what the best approach is. I have reading to do.

Both [MENTION=107760]salong53[/MENTION] and I are running this kit + Daystar 1.25" preload spacer in the front and love it. Highly recommended. Can be had on wheelers off road.

Either 1.25” daystar preload spacer or the 1” toytec spacer for the front and T13 1.5” coils for the rear if you want to keep the rake.

Installed the front. Took me and a friend about 5 hours but all in all it was not bad.

Good learning experience.

Now on to the rears
