Appreciate the response and I found the kit you are mentioning. It states, "These spacers are designed for the larger Bilstein shock bodies which come on Special Edition TRD models" but does not list the FJ kit specifically.

Seems like an solid option unless someone has experience to say otherwise. Now i'm just between this and re-using the Revtek 1.5" spacer currently installed.

These are the Bilstein 2.5" shock body, so they should fit. You could always call Toytec for confirmation. Though, for a lot less, I don't understand why you wouldn't go with the Daystar spacer for the extra lift.

You may have to piece a system together. Have you checked the So Cal - For Sale Thread? Someone is selling a used TRD PRO suspension and there is also a set of new 5160s currently available.

It basically clamps the reservoir to the shock instead of attaching to the frame?

I just bought a set and trying to figure out what spring/spacers I need.

I am looking for about 2 inches lift in the front but i already have some added weight upfront. I have a SSO slimline bumper, a winch and a dual battery setup.

I am thinking that a stiffer 3x14 650lbs spring with a 0.5 thick spacer would do them job but that is purely speculation from me.

Anyone have any experience or insight?

Call David at cornfedsuspension.com, he has preload and top spacer options made of UHMV. I have a set of King #650 springs I just powder coated TRD red I might unload in a month if I don't go the full bumper option. Adventure motorsports taking way too long for their preface center bumper. but yeah you have the right idea on what needs to be done.

going to depend on your wheel offset, but i'd guess the small lift wont be enough unless you add spacers too

They do not have any. Actually was told they did a national search and came up with zero left.

Have had the kit installed for maybe 1k miles now and I'm noticing a surprising amount of squeaky bushing noises when going over bumps at low speed. Not noticing any metal rattling noises, but it does sound like a lot of squeaky rubber noises. Think of moving around on an old noisy bed.

I am getting minor rubbing in reverse / full lock... so I need to trim the bumper very slightly... but I can't imagine my tires are causing this. I only notice it in the front... it really is a lot of noise. I have the Toyotec Baja spacer perch up front as well.

Anyone else? At first glance it looks like the shock mounts / top hardware is installed correctly. I paid a reputable shop to do it.

Go over every nut and bolt and make sure nothing worked it's way loose. I haven't seen anyone else post this so I have to think it's something with the installation. I'll be running the Cornfed top hat spacer for an additional 3/4" lift rather than the preload spacer. Personal opinion but I like that idea better, just seems like it would provide a better ride without the added spring preload.

What Chris said. Did you spec torque every nut and bolt?

Edit: I just remembered you took it to that shop north of Baltimore. Take it back to inspect it. I have no rubbing and no noise
