Shocks

I've put 5100's all the way around and I love the ride. I deleted the XREAS system from my 2014 Limited. It now rides like a 4Runner is supposed to, IMO. I did add adjustable front coil overs and HD springs to the rear as well.

I added the front Bilsteins set to 0.85 a few months before adding the rear Bilstiens. It helped the nose dive and was only slightly firmer. Overall it was OK for on and off road.

After I finally added the rears, it was a bit stiffer overall but not bad or harsh. I noticed the biggest improvement off-road with a feeling of better control on trails. You really should do all four IMO.

So after all I did get the other two shortly after now awaiting the shipment . For you guys that just added the shocks .85 for "level". Or what does the next step up higher look like with out the back being raised.

Ordering my set of front and back come January. Planning to do 1.75" front, Bilstein rear shocks plus Cornfed 1" spacers.

After doing a ton of research and looking over pics I decided to go with the .85" instead of the next up. Some have been level with the 1.75" but some have a reverse rake which is what I didn't want, plus I have the third row and was worried about the extra weight in the back. Overall I'm very happy with the ride and it sits just about level at least to the eye.

I did 1.75 and had a slight reverse rake.
I added OME 10 mm rear spacers and all is good at 1.75

Grn285 did you have sag on the drivers front ?? If not how do I see if I put the wrong front cool I.E drivers side on passenger side

I did the 1.75" and got a reverse rake. I liked it at first but not anymore. Did we ever figure out if they can be rest?

I had mine moved from 1.75" to 0 in October when I installed OME front springs. The techs just need to be careful with the split rings. Or call Bilstein and see if they can send you some new ones.

Thanks! That is good to know! Maybe I will just puts some pucks in the rear. I really didn't want to have too much of a lift but it might be cheaper to do it that way.
