Not sure about bolt together. Do you mean weld? I know Luke does this as a kit option (he got his reputation building FJ80 and other Cruiser bumper kits). To my knowledge he has never done a bolt together anything.
I'm having an email conversation with him now to see if he can ship it in sections that are less than 70 pounds and 130 inches in combined length and girth. I'm sure he can figure out something.
I have faith.
If not I can't complain, just the fact that he is entertaining the idea is awesome.
Let's hope this pans out!

Lol. No, if I got glass fenders I may have to trim the bumper but it should be fine. I'll probably just cut and roll my fenders though.

A guy I know from here in Texas recently took his highly modified Taco on the Rubicon. It was not pretty. He took out a CV axle, brake lines, some wheel bearings, and bent his drive shaft. He was pretty experienced, but obviously had never done the Rubicon. I'm sure he did not choose the easiest or best lines... He blamed most of the damage on a bad spotter who took him off a 4ft ledge. The pics he posted looked pretty crazy and fun!

I've done the con before. Both can do it fine. It's all about lines and good spotting.

Ok Ben so what did Luke do for the upgrades? I can't really tell.

Opened wheel well for up to 35" tires, new arms (one piece instead of welded), new tire carrier that matches the angle better and gets the whole thing 3" closer to the rig, new latch system that is easier to open/close and upgraded closer shocks. It's easier to tell in person. Overall it is just a bit better all around.
