Totally makes sense. I Want to use that spot for the wager fluid so I'll have to get measurements and see what I can find.
Where can I get some of the 'wager' fluid?=)

Lmao! Damn auto correct. *washer
Ben with your 34s are you rubbing on the top of the fender well?
Only once when I accidentally jumped the rig... Not under any rock crawling circumstances.
Have you heard anything about BFG giving the 285/75/17 the axe? I was looking for a set, but they seem to be sold out everywhere last time I looked. Guess I'm gonna look into 35s and everything needed to get those wheelable.

I know a few people haven't been able to get them. You might just want to go toyo m/t in that size or the nitto m/t. 34s seem perfect. The other tire on my list to try is the 305/70/17 Goodyear MTR. They are 34.4 and probably will be safer to run width wise than 35s.
I was looking into 305/70/17s but to a 35 gives so many more options when it comes to brands and tread patterns. The tire price is also very comparable too.
Still not 100% sure, but I think with a 1" body lift, some bump stops for the front and rear, cutting my body mounts back a little, a few other small things, I think I could make it work.
We'll see though.
I have no doubt you can make it work. It just would take about what you say to make sure that you don't bind or rub bad. Air bumps would be a nice upgrade... I think I could get 35s under without a 1" body lift. It would need the bump stops for sure. I probably should have them now. If I get fully compressed in the front, I can get light rubbing but it takes a big hit to fully compress 700lb springs...
uptravel won't be an issue with 35s, its clearing the firewall that will at 4/5ths to lock.
it really super pisses me off how all want to do is get these tires to stick out of the wells a bit and i can't do it because of how the well is designed. freaking SAS and 38s is going to set me back thousands just so i can have it look the way i want to.
The sas really is a bit complicated though. Keep going over all the parts etc. the well design is bunk for oversized tires. Up to 34 isn't as bad as 35+ but that does limit a lot. I was thinking custom fenders would be necessary to go over 35 and be able to lock it out. The width is a rpita.
Most 35's aren't a true 35", usually under. Several of the 285/75's are 33.8" to 34.1", so at this point to have a tire that has 35 on it is really splitting hairs. Go to 37's, then it's worth it!
