Can't wait to see the pics/video. Please take some. The rubicon is on my "must do" list.
BTW, I finally got out with my MTR 305s. They kicked ass. Ran them at 13psi and almost never lost traction.

just so you know, I'm having the bodyshop return my front fenders to stock dimensions with flares instead of having them roll them for me. camburg 3.5 front might be in the future
How did you like the MTRs bimrunner
I had mine out for the first time a few weeks back and was amazed by the traction. I felt like i was cheating.
Loved them. Best tires I've had. The duratracs did well when I ran it last year in the 80 too though. The MTRs were just more solid feeling though. The KM2s were ok but didn't do as well on wet rock as the MTRs did. I did manage to take a small slice in the top layer of the sidewall in the MTRs but not as many or as bad as the KM2s.
Can't get 285/70/17 or 305/70/17 right now, either.Only if they were made in 285/75x17.
Wish I was out there with you guys. Looking good man.
Questions, how do you like or dislike wheeling with the rtt? I am contemplating getting one for a trip out west. Just concerned about wheeling with the weight of it or being too heavy.
Second question, which rtt do you have?
Thanks
Bobby

When I got mine a few months back,,, I got them from Discount tire. They have a strange supply chain... The guy there told me they buy up a given size of a tire when they see there is low supply and put them in a warehouse for replacements.... He kept trying different distributors before pulling them from their warehouse. He told me they are instructed to pull from the warehouse as a last resort.... Anyway, Goodyear had none available nationally, but Discount had about 25 in their warehouse at the time. Can't get 285/70/17 or 305/70/17 right now, either.![]()
