Those might work, but I would definitely suggest a Coilover that is built and valved for the 2+ kit

Came to the same conclusion today. Limping the LT bimrunner till new ones come in... It is a race to see who can get me the CO fastest:
Priority:
1. King
2. Fox
3. Icon
Oh, and I'll have some Icons to list in the used part portion soon... with 700# spring rates...:redbrick:

Right now with SEMA on the horizon King's are running about 10+ weeks.
We had to sneak my 6 shock order in, in july, just to get the rig done in time for Offroad Expo.
Yeah. I am finding out that apparently there is a LT revival of sorts hitting the US!
Just to clarify on thing... In case someone else comes along trying to figure this puzzle out....LOLHere is a link to the CO I have:
Icon Long Travel Remote Reservoir Coilovers for Toyota FJ Cruiser, 4Runner and Tacoma
I'll see if they do the job or if I "need" custom Kings... :drama:

We have been chatting on PMs.
The link is not the coil overs you have. Those would have worked great with your new LT, but would not have fit on a a truck with a stock LCAs and shock mount locations...
You had/have extended travel ICONs, not the LT ones linked to. Probably just a misunderstanding back when you ordered them a long time ago since you cannot install LT spec shocks on a truck with stock control arms.
Well the big thing is ANY components in demand during the fall are gobbled up by SEMA builds.
It's nuts. We're rushing to get my setup done since it'll be on display at the Offroad Expo. Even then we had to order our stuff early. Yeesh.
Sourced some Kings. Going blue. :surfer:

How is Chance doing the straps? Photos?
Mine is going to him on Sept 6th for the same, but with the Fox of course.
Looks good and super jelly that you beat me.
I don't have pics of the straps yet and it may add a day redoing CO and rear shocks. The straps come preset from AllPro I believe. Sept 6 will be here soon though! We will have to compare the Kings to Fox setups!
Well, both you guys are going to beat me...but I'll gladly ride your coat tails and hopefully avoid some WTF moments.
I don't even have a single LT part ordered yet (except the spindle gussets). Still need to do those and the cam tabs.... Hopefully I can be done in October with the LT.
So bimrunner, you got King rears coming to match the stroke/length...of the rear LT Icons?

op2:
Interested in king rears question as well. I like my icon 2.5" rears but king would be a better choice.
Any valving or damping changes? Part numbers or specs?
Yes I do! Gotta match. I'll get you part numbers when I can (apparently the guy doing the work has done it before and has the specs or measured mine to match them up).
Oh and here is where we are now waiting for the CO and rears to show up.
Can't wait to hear the review...
BTW. here are the specs for the rear shocks. Extended 28.5 Compressed:17
Stroke:11.5
I'm still torn between king and Icon.. I have 0 complaints about the ICONs and the road manners are so sweet. But LT all around does seem to scream King.
