I ordered 2 gallons of desert sand and 1 gallon of black. I used about 3/4 of the black and about 1.5 gallons of the desert sand.

Not sure why my post got deleted. So I'll say it again.
I thought it'd look dumber'n @#$@$ (satisfied, mods?) when I first heard of the idea; I can see the bottom kick panels, but the whole 4Runner?
Now that I actually SEE it, however....it looks pretty dang sweet. I'm not sure it'd be for just any 4Runner, but if you know you'll be using the heck out of it, or will be wheeling it a lot, etc., then it makes perfect sense. Awesome job.

No mod should have deleted your post without notifying you. If you think such a thing occurred then you should PM a mod whom you know and ask him to look into it.
I'd reckon it was just the browser. The last time I heard of anonymous-deleting was SingToe's V8 thread and that was all worked out (or so I assume) . my point is that its pretty rare.

Not my cup of tea, but I can appreciate the execution and the black and tan color scheme will always look good I personally think you can't go wrong with some good 'ol industrial enamel (aka tractor paint).

Well, I try to work though stuff logically like this before suggesting deletion. In this case, it was posted @ home, and I then saw it the next day @ work. So @ the least, it was persistent for a half day or more.
However, having been a bulletin board admin for about 10 years now, I've got MORE than enough vBulletin administration experience to know that it's not at all uncommon for posts to go missing, especially if it's concerning some database corruption. On top of that, it WAS a pretty tame post. LOL It just happened after a day full of frustration so my fussiness came out in the post. Not really worth pursuing.

i have been wanting to do this for a minute. i like the desert tan becuase of the vehicles I drove in the ARMY.
Now I may do the WWII OD Green with tan accents.

When i saw your first post asking about I wasnt to sure about this mod. But holy hell man that looks bad ass!!!! Idk how bad your black paint was before, mine on the other hand is completely ruined from bush rash, tress, etc.....definintely want to give this a go once im done with a few other things!!!
