Black or Chrome???

I have a 4th Gen Black V6 Sport and I love it. I'm looking to get a Westin Light Safari Bar and a Rear Go Rhino Hitch step, but cannot decide on whether to get Black or Chrome. Not sure if the Powder Black somewhat resembles the black paint of the car or if the chrome is too "bling, bling". If I had a silver 4R than I would definitely get the chrome.

What do you guys think match the Black 4runner the best?

i think black on black would look really slick, so therefore i think you should get black... ive seen pictures around the internet of a black 4th gen with black tailight and grill guards and it looked really good!
 
chrome has a longer warrantee against corrosion. i like the way chrome looks on my black 4runner. check it out and see if u like it. the black powdercoat is not glossy like your paint.
 
So 1 for Black and 1 for Chrome... Does anybody have any pics of their rig with black on black guards, grills ,steps, etc?
 
I am different. I think the chrome would look better. It will show up better and give a cooler look. Black on black is too dull for me. It may sound weird, but I saw a black RAV4 a couple of days ago that had chrome side steps. It looked really good with the chrome on black.
 
CHROME all the way the black is not glossy i have seen it in person when i purchased mine.

Black is cheaper and easier to maintain (no polishing the chrome) but even the powder coated ones will eventually get some rock chips and show a little rust here and there... which is easily remedied w/ a little spray paint...
 
I've decided to go with the black. Cheaper and don't want my car to "bling" "bling" when parked, thus attracting negative attention (vandals & thieves)

Black Westin Light Safari bar ($139.95 shipped) and Black Go Rhino Hitch Step ($79.95 shipped). The last thing I have to buy is the hitch lock...

Just curious for those who have looked around for these items. Are these pretty much the best price you've come across?
