Black Rim Suggestions

I can finally post!

I'd like to ask this very knowledgeable board on black rim suggestions. I purchased a new, white 2016 Toyota 4runner SR5. Basically the low end model, no upgrades (although the one I got had third row seating). I intend to add some Katzkins at some point, but right now I'd like to add black rims. I'' also on a budget (in the past 3 months I bought our home, my new 4runner, and the wife's new NX200), so not looking to spend an arm and a leg. I also intend on reusing the tires that came stock with my car.

I really like this style...

Black Rock Yuma 908b

Do you have any equivalent suggestions to this? Can I reuse the stock tires? Thanks.

OP, not singling you out but this is why we have the 15 post before you can start your own thread rule.

If you would search you would find threads like this http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/143958-best-looking-black-wheels-2010-4runner.html that have dozens of black wheels on 5th Gen 4Runners.

If you would google "5th Gen 4Runner Yuma Wheels you would find links like this https://www.google.com/search?q=5th...KEwiTyYqJzZ3NAhXENSYKHTaWCcEQ_AUIBygC#imgrc=_ that show you even more black wheels.

Welcome to the forum and, while the 4Runner is new to you, it is six years old and there are tens of thousands of posts that ask and answer every question imaginable. Have fun modding!

As long as you keep the wheel width below 8" you can re use the stock tires.

Thank you! I did to an extensive search. Unfortunately some of these are old threads and some of these rims are now unavailable (like the MB 72 I was trying to find). Also, I know new products become available all the time so was wondering if anyone found anything similar.

If you're looking for something along that same style, you could always look towards some FJ steelies. @apexoverland had some on his for a while. search for his build/adventure thread, he's got some important info to look for.

FN Wheels or Stealth Custom Series wheels. Don't get the Bro wheels.

Honestly, I really like the trail wheels powder coated black, I have the TRD wheels for now but have been debating line-x on my trail wheels, just worried about balancing issues. But a sick set of Method NV 18x9 would be awesome!

I like my FJ black powder coated rims. Truth be told, they are a pain to keep clean and looking good.

I'd personally vote for the factory TRD pro 17s. They come in black and look really nice on a a white 4runner. Seen it on this forum and also around town. Plus you can keep your stock size as you mentioned. Personally I wanted black but chickened out and got the gunmetal TRD wheels (light grey 4Runner).

X's 2. I have some coming in the mail tomorrow. I also went gunmetal, I'm done with the black rim look.

If I had a white 4runner, I would go bronze. Look at SCS and FN wheels, they are hub centric which is what you want.
