Blacking Out Fog Lights

Hey everyone,

I've done the black headlight mod with my 05 4th Gen, I was just wondering how to do the fog lights and possibly the turn signals. I'd appreciate the help. Here's a picture of my fog light/turn signal.

the fogs should be as easy as the headlights to bake apart

I've been looking to do the same thing. I believe [MENTION=87178]NuclearN8[/MENTION] took his apart to add halos, so he may have some details on the process.

I wouldn't think you'd want to do the directional as it's probably all reflector inside & would make the light pretty ineffective.

I had a set of fogs I was going to do this with, for whatever reason i found them harder to bake apart than the headlights. But it was doable. They were in the oven longer.

If you want to get a spare set to practice on or whatever, I still have the complete assemblies from my '04 when I installed my SW bumper; got the bulbs and everything. Only thing is I am on vacation until the 13th, so I won't be able to ship them out until then if you're interested; they're just taking up space at the shop.

the 05 halogen fogs can be done the same way. I had them apart to add halos but didn't black them out... good luck.

I commented on A_HuLs's Build Thread questioning this same thing. Gaterose did the work and responded that it wasn't too difficult.
