It does tend to clump up if its too cold or too thick of a coat is applied at first. It doesn't look as good as paint but I found it does just fine for certain projects.
If you go to their website it says out of stock.
I also emailed them a week ago about a kit for a Limited and they claimed there will be one by the end of the month.

Pull the trigger, you won't regret it. I don't. Looks so much better.
Yes, they are pricey and really should sell for about half of what they charge, but it's a new company getting their feet and for once, I'm actually pleased with a purchase. These things are quality and they put the effort behind making sure they are an exact fit for any factory chrome emblems you're wanting to make black.
Normally I just remove emblems for that clean look but the 4Runner doesn't work well to do that.

Yes these are plastic overlays that use 3m double sided tape to install. Super easy just make sure the original emblems are clean.

Anyone knows what the difference in th 10-13 vs 14 and newer lettering or is it the grille Toyota logo that's different ? Big difference in price !

So.. I have a 2011 4runner. FatTiresRollin plastidipped their front chrome piece of their grill (page 8). How can I plastidip the chrome part of the grill without spraying everything else? I'm guessing you can take out the chrome piece and spray it and then put it back in. I just don't know how to do this safely.. Can anyone help me?

You typically don't need to take stuff off or even worry about masking close.

Back to the chrome and I hate chrome but it actually looks good
hey man, if you wouldn't mind could you post some more pictures of your 4runner? That's exactly what I want to do with mine, love what you've done with the wheels and tires.
Yeah, but it would be much easier just taking my chrome piece off and plastidipping it. If I spray it near my grill, it will no doubt get through to the radiator or something. My can manages to spray through newspaper sometimes and find its way to parts of my paint that I never thought it could reach, haha.

How well does this plasti-dip stuff hold over over the long term?
You can remove the chrome piece without removing the entire grill from the truck. I've done it twice - once the paint the original chrome one, and once again to replace that one with a factory black piece from a trail.
Once you remove the plastic cover so you can access the back of the grill, it's not that hard. There are a couple small screws, then the rest is clips. You have to release each of the clips from the back with a screwdriver or something similar while you pull the chrome piece from the front. The clips break pretty easily, but if you break one or two in the process, it won't matter much since you also have the screws holding that piece in.
Lots of badge pictures but very little on the Limited bumpers. I am in the market for a new 4Runner, and finally decided I cannot do the limited due to the plastic-chrome going overboard.
Am I the only one who hates all the chrome on the 4R LE? are the few modding the bumper just doing plasti-dip, or is there any good wraps?
