Why the hate for plasti dip? That stuff is awesome.
Tried doing a few projects and they just never looked good. Either I suck at it or my expectations are too high.

Hmm, can't seem to find the Nox Lux kit on eBay. Am I blind, or are they just not there anymore?
Sorry, my fault. I just bought the last set Wednesday, and they arrived this morning. Here's the eBay link, but they have zero left.
2014 2016 Toyota 4Runner Matte Black Out Emblem Overlay Badge Kit 11 Piece Kit | eBay
First time seeing this product. Sound like the original emblems stay and this gets applied over them? Are they stickers of some kind? Sorry for the dumb questions, but inquiring minds want to know.
Yes these are plastic overlays that use 3m double sided tape to install. Super easy just make sure the original emblems are clean.
Took the plunge with Plasti-Dip. Love how it turned out. Ran out of time on Saturday during my 2 year olds naptime, but I got 3 more cans in the garage! Chrome strips are next...maybe a TE conversion w/ Plasti-Dip.
Back to the chrome and I hate chrome but it actually looks good![]()
You typically don't need to take stuff off or even worry about masking close.
So.. I have a 2011 4runner. FatTiresRollin plastidipped their front chrome piece of their grill (page 8). How can I plastidip the chrome part of the grill without spraying everything else? I'm guessing you can take out the chrome piece and spray it and then put it back in. I just don't know how to do this safely.. Can anyone help me?
