Decided to put some rock lights under my truck. Here is a shot of one of the four that I am currently mounting. It was a cheap/easy project. The lights were only $16 a pair and screw right into threaded holes on the frame. I originally got them to mount on the sides of my rack but decided against them.

They are actually pretty bright considering their price. Still need to wire them permanently though, this was just a test run for their mounting spot.

I was bored the other day and walking around pepboys and saw some cheapo LED strobe kit. $29 later I had strobes in my taillights and my dust lights hooked up as well. When I night wheel I am going to keep my dust lights solid but keeps the strobes in the turn signals.

It is a pretty cool little controller, I can control 1 flash vs 3, the speed of the flashes and if they alternate or if they all flash at once.

Here are some pics from the a few trips in the past month or so

Your runner looks good heading up the X trail!!! We just had 7 runners up there last week Good times!!! Hope to see you on the trails!

I had a great time on that trail, it was a fun run. One of the Blazers I was with did lay itself on its side and the other slid off a hill, which made the trip a little more interesting...

4Runner did great though! :D

Thread jack over! :biggrin2:

Decided to upgrade the roof lights. Just got one wired up to test it out and damn it is bright! Cast way more lights than the two KC's I had on. Can't wait to get all 4 wired up.

Big difference!! can't wait to see all of them on. I guess you'll need to get that hood wrapped sooner rather than later.

Yup! I think I may wire the lights this week sometime and do the hood this weekend.

I am excited to see all these lights fired up.
