Let me guess your wrapping it? I'm doing the same but to my roof 3m makes some good stuff. Are you going for a full body wrap or something like a clear bra?

Flat silver? Looks good, can't wait to see more pics!!

Yup, Matte Silver 1080 3M Vinyl Wrap. It is going to be the entire body. I am hoping to pick it up on Saturday, I am really excited to see what it looks like done.

I was going to do matte black but figured the matte silver is a little more interesting. It should look good to have some contrast between the matte silver and my black wheels/sliders/rack/grille etc...

A little update. I ordered a Demello 3 Hoop Bumper, Engo 10k Winch, Viking Synthetic Line, a CO2 setup from "the Source" and Total Chaos Front Lower Control Arm Skids. Should be installing all of these on the 24th/25th... Definitely very excited to see how they all turn out.

Another thing I am slightly more up in the air about is a Dual Battery setup with a solar panel on the roof to keep everything charged.

I will post up pics when everything is installed!

Whoa, that's an impressive list you have going there. I've been debating on the CO2 setup and the lower skids for some time. You'll have to provide an update once you have a chance to use them both.

Now the question is, what lights are you mounting on top of the new bumper?

I will definitely report back on the CO2 setup and LCA skids. I think the source CO2 kit is perfect for me. It is not quite on the same level as the Powertank setup, but for $209 it is a great deal.

As for lights- I wish I knew. I think ultimately I will want 240's on front, but I at first I am going to put on a pair of Long Range KC Slimlites (I have 4 left over from when I upgraded my roof lights) and convert those to HID's. I just am trying to slow down the spending after dropping about $2k into my truck in a week :ybrick: Also looking at putting on an LED lightbar instead or Dually LED's in the cutouts on the Demello bumper, but those are pretty pricey and it seems as soon as you buy LED's a new and improved version will come out.

And for those that are interested I updated the first 4 posts with a much more up-to-date list of what I have on my truck and added quite a few photos from various trips.

I've been back and forth regarding on-board air and CO2. The Source kits are making me consider CO2 for good due to their price point.

I hear you about the spending. Bumper, winch and syn line add up and considering the lights on top of that it's a big expense. I've seen the LEDs behind the openings on an FJ and they look pretty slick.

Crazy seeing the evolution of your truck. As an old timer on this site, i still remember when you were offroading with spacers :thumb3:

I love lights, so I would probably be lying if I said I didn't think I would end up with the 240's. I think I am going to do dual batteries instead right now though- finally decided on that.

Maybe in the future I will do the 240's AND LED's... can never have too much light :frisky:

Ditto to you, I am still jealous of your build- your truck is one of my favorites. It didn't seem that long ago we were rocking spacer lifts and Defiant light bars though!

Looks bad ass!! :girl:

Thanks!

Do you have a sunroof? How do you like the rack? and lights? Looks great!

I do not have a sunroof on my truck. And I LOVE the rack. It is really well built and the customer service you get from Baja Rack is hard to match. As for the lights I think they are the best bang-for-your-buck self contained HID's out there. They are around $100-130 a light new and I picked them up from a buddy for even less. I have ran Hella 500's, KC Slimlites and these on my roof now and these cast way more light, also they have the advantage of having lower watts.

And just a cell phone pic, but here is all of the lights on. I am debating adding LED's or HID's to the bumper but I sort of like the clean look of having nothing there.
