I noticed that somewhere along the way your bumpers went from chrome to gloss black. Did you paint them yourself? If so what did you use? They look awesome. Most of the guys go with flat black. But Iv been looking for a good way to do gloss black.

Compared to the shop price I was given, it's golden. All I have is a point & shoot camera and although it has the video capability, the sound of the 50 series cannot be fully appreciated..Get it and you'll love it!

The front bumper is OEM Toyota bumper previously painted dark grey, bought it for $20, now painted using the same color code as my truck's at the body shop. I still have the chrome one in the garage.

yea for the past couple hours ..i've been contemplating whether or not to remove my brush guard..paint my chrome ..do the grille mod and mount my lights like his.

The other truck next to mine is my brother's 99 Ltd. recently lifted and fitted with Procomps and Duratracs. I went and tried my e-locker selectable mod and at the same time took some photos only this time with my brother as company.

I was lucky it hasn't sold after 4 days of posting, kept my eyes on it while trying to balance the budget..realizing the rarity of such kit sold as a complete set and for a great price...I took the plunge, but not 'til after seeking counsel and getting advise from fellow member's and from the vendor's representative as well.

I would have to say this is my favorite looking runner. I wanted a black one, and got lucky this summer to find one in great condition. I love the clear lenses on all your lights! I still have the oem orange. I found clear bumper lenses on ebay, but they come as a kit with the lights. Where did you find all your clear lenses for the bumper and turn signals? Can you get JUST the lenses without any lights?
 
I can't remember the exact vendor on Ebay where I got mine but if you type in "4runner bumper lights", you should be able to locate them with options of buying with or without the bulbs.
 
99 Cup Holder & Switch's relocation

Found me a 99 Limited cup holder at a wreck yard and started modifying it to fit..There have been lots of write-up's on how-to's so I'll skip on that..
In the back of my head I know what needed to be done so I just started hacking away bits and pieces of the console.

Now those who have done this mod knows well that the switch for the ECT and Back Window has to be relocated..maybe even the Factory Toyota alarm indicator.
Some chooses to put them on the shifter-transfer case cover, some right where the knock-out's are just to the left of the steering wheel.

My dilemna, mine's stuffed full of switches so I needed to improvise..

Nice find on that center console bro! that's going to be your next assignment on my truck 'cuz i need those extra cup holders &extra switches for my 520's. Maybe you can come down here so we can install all those extra parts that we didnt get to install. ie: body lift, my 02 rear spoiler and satosi mod. i found a 3x3 rigid LED back up light thats not compatible with PIAA plug. I need help from the expert to run the wire. (: hope you can make it here soon so i can show you SVRA. :bigok:

Yep gather everything together then we'll tackle all those, no problem. Let's just let the weather simmer down a little and we'll do the BL on your truck...Oh yeah you got a closed garage

Hope you're not thinking of installing those LED back up's on the same location as your PIAA's..I still remember quite vividly what happened to those when we went wheeling..
