I had an oil leak that I didn't notice, I'm in the police academy right now so my mind was elsewhere so yep, I have to look into my options as I don't have time to plan something out

dibs on your headlights and hood... maybe some interior parts depending on the color of your interior as well...


edit, i saw your tail lights and i think ill pass... they are too shaded for me -i wish you had the stock headlights still, id be all over those along with the taillights

It would be a huge mistake to part it out. Most guys who part it out have wrecked 4Runners.

If the engine is the only issue just replace it with a used one and sell.

You won't get very much for the parts with out an engine.

another vote for dropping a motor in it.... borrow the money if you have to. get a used motor and enjoy your truck for many more years

Don't do it

Save up some money and drop in an engine on your rig,not worth parting it out and you will be kicking yourself after it's all gone.i will be replacing my engine in the next few weeks and it almost took me close to a year to save up.just be patient grasshopper.

I also don't think you should part it. [MENTION=65101]BrianSD_42[/MENTION] gave some solid info there. The motor is the big money maker in a part out. Just stick a new motor in it.

I've been wondering where you've been. Seriously though don't part it out. I would gladly take some parts off your hands...(hood), but you will regret it since you have so much into it and some of my sweat and blood haha. PM me if you're unsure, you can be back on the road for under $2000 easily if not less.
