Running light/parking lights must be visible from the side and the front to be legal just fyi. if you switch the corners to be turn signals you still need a continuous light on from the side.

My rig came with the driving (corners) lights off and my friends taco has driving lights in the front (like it came) so were riding dirty? Or is this state specific?? I'm in Texas. I'm planning on doing this since my parking lights do nothing as of now.

And for the blinker I got a piece plexi glass and cut it to fill the gap then I'm going to mount a fog light behind it

Someone said its illegal to have the corner lights off. Well mine cane with them disabled so is that law state specific?

I just ended up adding some Honda sockets above the oe sockets and using 921na (amber) bulbs. Credit to Ritzy4Runner for the idea Corner blinkers 96-2002 4Runner and Tacoma - YotaTech Forums and rworegon for looking up the bulbs for me. I didn't use Accord sockets as described and the 921 is bigger than a 168 or 194 bulb (same base though) but that was the general idea.
