Blinking center diff light

Hi all, thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

So my center diff actuator on my 2006 sport was frozen (which seems to be a common problem. We were able to un seize the actuator and after a few tries we got the gears back together with everything working properly. My problem now is that the center diff light flashes when it's not engaged but as soon as your engage it lights up steady and the VSC light comes on.

Has anyone experienced this problem before or have any idea of what would be causing it to flash?

I would try switching it in and out of CDL and try rolling straight ahead a bit when you disengage it (maybe even have someone tap on the case with a hammer.) its most likely blinking because it hasn't fully disengaged.

Besides the indicator lights is there a certain way to tell if it's fully engaged/disengaged?
