blower problems

im new to the forum. dont know if this is the place to post this.my problem is that the blower only works on high.when turned on to low and the a/c button is pushed in the light for a/c works but the blower wont work.it only works on high.is the blower going bad or my control that turns on the system is bad.thanks could use some help.:bash:

Toyota uses a resistor pack to control fan speeds. They look like little coils of wire. Several of them have gone bad (open) in your module, which is usually located in the ductwork under the pass side dash. Look for 3-4 wires going into a duct.

Back to the topic: My fan doesn't work on the two low speeds. Although I really don't care. I have noticed that my blower motor just doesn't seem to blow as hard as I think it should (on high). I don't think it's the resistor pack, but could it be the problem?

Yep, the blower resistor is well known for going bad and its only 8 or 9 bucks at the dealer too. mine had the same symptoms, new resistor worked great on all speeds.
 
blower resistor loc.

does anyone know were they are located. looked for them couldn't find them.picture would help alot. thanks:D
