Blown Fuse, No Power Windows/Radio/AC Fan, etc. Help please....

Did u take out the 30 amp fuse inside at the bottom of the fuse block? I think its a main one too.

Yes, I checked all of those type fuses in addition to all the standard fuses. All the fuses show to be good.

I also checked for battery power on those type fuses as well. You have to remove those in order to check for circuit power. Those circuits all showed 12v power to one leg. A few under the hood showed power to both legs.

Until you verify that the ignition switch and associated wiring is ok I think you are wasting your time.

Not getting power to the window switch would be a result of this.

Put the voltage meter on the battery with the engine running. If it reads over 13v the charging system is working. If not, then you are just living off of battery charge.

I'm in the process of checking the ignition switch at this very moment. There does seem to be an issue there. There should be two hot wires supplying power to the Ingnition but only the "White" wire is showing such.

Right now I have both driver side windows down. Does anyone know which wire I should apply power to in order to raise these windows?

I've provided pics of the wiring harness disconnect which powers the door window switches.

I don't know the answer to that.

I think you are losing the forest for the trees. Why do you want to jump power to the harness to make the window go up when no power to the connector/switch is what your problem is? Stay on target... Your issue is upstream of that window switch, not downstream.

I am on target Cabowally but the truck may end up going to the dealership if I cannot solve the issue at hand.

Until then, I'd like to get my windows rolled up in order to avoid rain from getting inside.

Whats that blue wire thats wrap around at the fuse box? U sure nothing got pulled loose.

The alternator definetly isn't charging the battery.

I've never seen this but maybe someone can confirm one way or the other.

Is it possible the vehicle is wired so all non essential components are turned off/by-passed with a bad alternator?

Yes I did! It turned out to be a rookie mistake that I made....I pulled and reinserted a fuse into the wrong slot. :ybrick:

The member you quoted hasn't been on the forum for over 2 years, I'm guessing you won't get a reply.

Have you checked both fuse blocks/boxes?

There's one under the dash and another under the hood.
