My subwoofer was blown and rattling so I searched around on here for options. I really didn't want to run an amp under my seat and wanted to keep the stock look and not have anything external in the rear bay. I've had issues with installs from places like Best Buy, Circuit City and others who basically have very limited experienced people doing installs. So I bit the bullet and went to a local high-end stereo store near me called Bob and Ron's World Wide Stereo. They really hooked me up. They suggested a JL Audio W1v2 (8", 4ohm subwoofer) And for the amp they put in a Rockford Fosgate Punch PBR300X1 300w. The best is this amp was small enough to fit in the rear quarter panel with the subwoofer and the existing amp!:frog: It sounds awesome and has incredible bass now.
I also had them wire in power to my windshield mount for my Droid RAZR. I also wanted to make the RAZR work with the radio but the company they use, their interface didn't work. I told them about the USA Spec PA15-TOY before hand but they said they would rather use the interface from the company they work with. Oh well, I'll just get the USA Spec and install it my self, especially after reading reviews, it sounds as if it is very easy to install. Can't wait to stream Pandora.
