Thanks for this. I had almost decided on mounting the breaker in the engine bay but was hesitating to see if I could do it in the back so that I can shut the rear power supply off if I'm in the back without having to go through the hood.
Any tips on how to mount an MPPT to it? I'm deliberating between mounting it there in the back and running it from the wires I will send back, or mounting it under the passenger seat but that option would entail additional set of wiring.
You want to run the MPPT off the same wiring from the battery back to your fuse block? I'm not familiar with MPPTs other than their general purpose as I've not yet messed with solar for charging anything so I'm probably not much help in that area.
