Hi all! I am new here and have some questions. I have come to this site to find info on things for the wife's 4 Runner. We currently have a 1999 with a 6 cyl engine. I found a 1997 4 Runner that has a bad frame but the body is very nice. My Question is will the doors and hatch fit our 99? It looks the same to me but with my luck I figured I better ask. They both also have the 3.4 6 cyl and auto transmission.

i just did a quick search and part numbers for the frame looks to be different.

3rd gen, 1996-2002, share the same body.

Yeap front doors r the same to diff part numbers one for sr5 one for limited, probable holes for the side mouldings. rear doors list three diff numbers a sr5, a limited and a sr5 with 'large fenders' what ever that means. tail gate is the same two diff part numbers one with wiper one without wiper.
