That job should have been no less than $1500 for decent work. That guy got taken and should have yanked the car out after one week regardless. Body kits are almost always bad ideas and the only high quality ones are factory or crazy expensive. Those pictures seriously got me depressed thinking about how much work it will take to fix it :bash:

exactly. not to dog the dude but kind of what you get for trying to bargain shop and not doing research. thats terrible work and the shop should have never touched the car. but why would you take such a nice car to ma & pa's hack job shop? tried to save a few bucks and now look what happens.

and is it just me or did the one girl in the pic have nice legs? :biggrin2:

I agree with previous post, you get what you pay for. I love the Z's and would never subject them through such abuse and poor craftmanship or any other car for that matter.

Why would it matter? 350Z is frigging ugly anyway. Looks like some one did body-work under some oak tree with basic tools or no tools at all.

There are so MANY things wrong with those pictures, I'm at a loss of words and I don't know where to begin. I could probably write a novel, since pictures are worth a thousand or a few hundred thousand words.

There should a be a lawsuit. That Z is worthless at this point. Drywall screws :wtf: (There's enough drywall screws on one skirt to almost hold a 4x8' sheet of Sheetrock.) Looks like he's swapping out springs in one of the pics, I think he could've installed the kit himself.

"If it don't fit, you must acquit" or quit molesting it to get it to fit. Looks like a drywall screws and a BFH were the only tools the body shop had.

poor job of installation all the way around, he paid a good penny for the kit and let a chump shop do the work w/out seeing some of their work to start w, damn, I'd be mad at the Hulk about that ish!!!!!!!!!:bash:

Not really. It was a knock off kit, thus the huge fitment issues. But what's sad is the shop's attempt to fit and install a poor fitting kit.

I like the defense the poster puts in big print don't say "you get what you pay for." He chose that shop because of a $250 quote. But because it was a poor fitting kit, he got reamed for another $500 for the molestation work. I still wonder why he took his car to that guy when he's been told the bad stuff about the shop. Thread gets pretty funny when they show pics of guy painting without a mask and the supplies in the shop. I wouldn't have any shop paint my car if they don't have a booth.

I'm just glad it's not one of us that decided to cheap out and subjected a 4Runner to that type of abuse.

well if he has the money to drive a 350Z and modify it, then you would think he would cough up a little more dough to get the job done right. To get a quote for 750 to install a kit like that and to get it done right, was way to low.

Its one thing to have a job done cheap. The POS who did the work took it to another level by DAMAGING someones nice 350Z!
