Bolt near radiator snapped and I don't know what to do.

So I was hearing a slight rattle during acceleration on my truck and got under it to examine. I noticed there was a pressure hose which appears to come off the radiator that was very loose.. I tried to tighten it and it seemed to be stripped. When I took the 10mm bolt out the pressure blew and I am not sure what it is or what to do. It is near the radiator on the driver's side. It leaked out some fluid but it doesn't appear to be antifreeze.. Any ideas what it is and how to fix it? I can get a new bolt but I'm not sure how to restore the pressure.. Thanks for any of your help...

I'm gonna guess you pulled off an AC line, and what leaked out was R134a. If there was any liquid that came out, it was probably dye. Did it sorta evaporate? Check to see if your AC still works. And a picture of the bolt would sure help!

Assuming that you're truck was not running I would say it was AC lines. I can't think of anything else that is pressurized with the engine off. Pics would tell the right story.

On my 02 I don't have any AC stuff on the driver's side, unless you are talking about the condenser. There shouldn't be a bolt on it that would let out the R134...

the AC condensor is silver and sits infront of the radiator which is black. You sound dangerous to your truck. my advice is to lock up your tools and give the key to your mom to keep you from pulling a piston out to change a spark plug.
