I have been hiding in the shadows for years and finally got around to asking a question. Does any one know off hand what size socket I need to remove my trailer hitch, I'm too old to do the up and down thing, I just want to get under my truck once and be done with it. It's a 97 SR5. I need to paint the hitch it looks like crap, thank you. Mike

The whole hitch? They were 17mm bolts on mine.

You might end up needing a wrench, though--one of them was covered by the exhaust tip on my 98, so it couldn't be removed without removing the muffler.
