Installing a new motor and was bolting up the trans and saw that there is a 'green' bolt that needs to be installed first? I did no use that one first, do I need to redo it all? Why is it to be installed first??
The FSM doesn't really say much about it other than use it first. I would assume it's slightly different than the rest?? Maybe the shaft is a little smaller to allow some play to get the rest in easier? Just guessing since I've never taken a trans out of one of these.
