Borked my gauge cluster - need a favor

So I was working on a color change for my gauge cluster and had to remove the needles to get at the gauge faces properly. Anyway, when I put them back on, I obviously did it wrong, so now my fuel gauge and my temp gauge are giving me bad readings. Fortunately I think my tach and speedometer are ok. To fix the other two, I'd greatly appreciate if someone would post a couple pics of the following:

1. Picture of the fuel gauge immediately after a fill-up

2. Picture of the temp gauge immediately after a cold start

My thinking is that I can remove the needles again and put them back on in the appropriate place under the above conditions and remedy the problem. If any of you with more technical know-how on the matter see a problem with my thinking, please let me know.

I've played with toyota gauge clusters before.
Do your regular road trip and then open up the cluster and remove (lift) the heater indicator needle and slide into the axle, pointing the needle slightly below half line.

Then fill the truck up all the way and remove the indicator needle. Wait about 5-6 minutes. Install the fuel needle pointing all the way up.

I had to do several times (about 2-3 times to get all acceptable levels).
