brake/tail light bulbs

what bulbs can i use besides LED that are brighter than stock bulbs? i wouldn't mind having LED but don't want the headache of resisters for abs light problems.

I haven't read up on the issue in a while, but in MY 2000 I'm running all vled led's and the only one that gave me any trouble (besides changing out the flasher relay) was the 3rd brake light. I too am against using resistors so I just changed that one back to a standard bulb.

Everything else is led and I love them. 3yrs later they're still goin strong. Vleds makes a quality product imo

why change the flasher and to what type did you change it to?

The lower draw tricks the car into thinking a bulb is out and gives you a hyperflash. Tons of threads out there, here is one
