Brake Upgrade / Wheels / Spacers

Hey guys,

I just got some 265/75/16 AT tires put on my stock 16" 5-stars. I want to upgrade my front brakes to get rid of wobble and have more stopping power.

So bottom line, I'm looking at either getting some new 16x8 wheels to (more/less?) backspacing to fit bigger brakes, and widen the tires a bit to better fit my SR5 flares. I'm looking at the 16" countersteers.

OR I'm thinking to put some 1 or 1.25" wheel spacers on the stock wheels and go for 241mm brake upgrade.

Anyone want to shed some light on either of these routes? Pics would be nice!

Would would you all do?

Keep your current wheels, they'll fit the bigger brakes. Put the money for wheels/spacers towards your lift!

I got the toytec ultimate lift :-) I wanted to go with 285/75/16 tires but they wouldn't fit so I got 265s and the tires just look a little tall skinny. So I was thinking wheel spacers to fill fender flares or wider wheels. But I'm going to do brakes regardless.
