brakes!! need help!! 500 mile trip tuesday!!!

ok so my truck runs fine check engine light is on and its telling me to replace egr valve. ok i got that. i'll get it to it when i get some money. but as of right now my brakes are all jacked up and i cant figure out whats wrong. so i replaced the front calipers and brakes. after about 10-20 minutes of driving the brakes seem to lock up and i can smell my new brakes burning really bad.
i've had my ebrake lock up before but i got it to release and ive never used it again.. i just put it in 2nd gear lol. but I can drive good for about 10-20 minutes and then its like something is stoping my truck i can put it in nuetral and it wont roll forwards or backwords. it just sits there. i try reverse and it has the same affect still feels like somethings catching. im leaving for
fort leonard wood and im at fort sill right now. my truck would make the trip but it would kill my gas milage. My ABS light isnt on so i didnt think it was my rear brakes. could it be my master cylinder?


i need help asap!!

I would start with jacking up the front and spinning each tire with the vehicle off. See if it's catching when the power is off. Maybe the pads didn't get seated right in the caliper or something.

i cant do any of that had a friend do the work i trust him pretty well. with work tho. i went to look for a jack and the people who owned it last took it so i dont even have a jack for it : /... i can leave the vehicle parked for about 20 minutes and it drives fine again but after abotu 20 minutes of driving it starts to lock up it seems like again

Unfortunately, without getting in there and looking around, it's going to be quite difficult to diagnose what it might be. Does the brake pedal feel normal while driving?

yeah it feels fine untill it starts to lock up then i can only tap the brakes before being slammed into the dash lol
