Alright. So I've got ~141,000 miles on my truck now, and I'm starting to have braking issues.
Current setup:
I guess it's worth saying that I don't have issues stopping, but I can hear a popping/scraping sound and it vibrates the brake pedal when I hear it. I can say that my pedal feels mushy on occasion. I was going to wait for it to get worse so I can easily diagnose it, but I don't want to find out the issue going 70 mph on the interstate.
Current setup:
- My front calipers are the 13WLs with 231mm rotors, which were done about 5-7,000 miles ago.
- The rear has factory drums with new pads.
- When braking hard, I hear popping from the front/rear occasionally
- I constantly bleed my brakes because air gets in
- When checking my rear brakes a few weeks ago, the rear driver side adjusting pin was out of its groove (I dont know the technical term)
- I have the goose sound coming from my dash periodically
