That sounds good. Sometimes after parking my truck at the mall I go out and it has turned itself sideways and pointed at the Mountains. Almost like it has been sitting there crying and remembering the good old days....LOL

Poor truck. All it wants to do is go out and play. :(

On a side note, I ordered a front ARB locker today! When my truck found out about it, it did laps around the living room and I had to give it a treat to calm down!

Sorry to here you have to really clean the living room but congrats on the front locker!!

Make sure you get a reputable shop to set that thing up, a couple guys in my area have blown their brand new front diffs after locker installs due to the difficulty of set-up of the 7.5". You're basically setting it up blind is what I hear.
 
Thanks guys. Yeah the front locker puts more stress on the CVs, but I believe it's all about using it sparingly only when you need to. I definitely won't be hammering it up tight turns with the steering pegged. It will come in handy in the deep snow too, which isn't as big of a concern for breaking CVs or grenading the diff because the snow allows for tire slippage much more than dirt and rocks do. I'm getting a P&L warranty too.

setting up that front clamshell is hell...i ordered mine from ECGS complete with gears and locker...and warranty :biggrin2:
 
Yeah I agree, a good setup can be all the difference. They already did my gears a while back and I had no problems so I'm pretty sure they'll do a good job, but I got the warranty as a back-up.
 
The fuel tank skids are in line to be cut and bent. I should be able to pick them up by the 25th. Then I'll weld the three of yours over the next couple of days and get them ready for shipping.

I'll have 7 more for sale at that time also.

Got my new lower control arms on that J-money$$$ and I made ourselves which are 1.75" .120 wall DOM tubing sleeved with and inner 1.5" .120 wall DOM tube so essentially 1/4" thick 1.75" tube going to 7/8" heim joints. Virtually indestructible and provide ~22* more flex than the stock arms. At the same time, we armored the LCA mounts on the frame side with some steel plating to reinforce the vulnerable mounts. Here's the thread all about them (pics shown are J-money$$$'s truck but it looks the same as mine)...

The shop added a new switch to my dash this weekend, can anyone tell me what it does?? It say's "Front Air Locker"???? hehe :tongue:

hmmmm no never heard of such a thing... it probably locks something... i dont know dude i wouldn't touch it if i were you, it sounds dangerous. :D:D:D

Congrats on the new LSD! (That could be taken a totally different way if we were in the 60s! haha). I wanted to test mine out this weekend and I almost said screw it and went wheelin, but I had to be responsible and pay bills and do laundry all day. Fun, I know.
