Brightest Bulbs For Reverse Back Up Lights

What is the brightest bulb you can buy for your reverse back up lights.

I use lasfit's 921 for reverse. They work pretty good for just led bulbs.

I would Suggest you to Opt for these light bulbs for your reverse lights, if you want anything more brighter then i would suggest you to go for Auxiliary Lights.

Thanks John. I’ll go this route for now. Not looking to do any modifications, just replace the bulb.

One thing I like about this bulb is it actually has a rear projection. The other ones I’ve seen only project out the side.

i'd recommend lasfit also. Bought it on amazon back in the day...very bright, never had to replace them, and wasn't expensive.

Hey [MENTION=352938]Lexington[/MENTION], I know this doesn't really answer your question, but, once you do decide on some new reverse light bulbs, check this system out. Seems to be a pretty good solution without adding anything extra. I have no experience with them but def about to order up. I want a lot more light in the back but don't want to have purchase additional lighting.

I got the Lasfit 921 for my RAV4. Amazon.com: LASFIT 921 912 LED Reverse Light Bulbs, 6000K White T15 LED Backup Light Replacement Cargo Non-polarity, 2 Bulbs : Automotive

They fit great in the RAV4, but they would not fit the socket in my '18 4Runner. Has to do with those little rectangle chips between the terminals. My 4Runner socket has a rounded space between the terminals for a halogen 921 glass bulb, but the square shoulder on the Lasfit would not fit in the rounded space.

I appreciate the thought but I already upgraded my tail lights. I actually looked at these but I went with a light smoked tail lights like these. This right here, with better bulbs to. Ive had mine for years. OEM I can hardly seen into my garage at night backing up. Since turn mod now its bright like daylight..makes a huge difference.

I added JDM ASTAR reverse LED bulbs, but felt like they weren't much of an improvement. I found an old LED scene light I had lying around and wired it up to the 4R for an additional reverse light. I used the stage series wiring harness from Diode Dynamics so it was plug and play to the factory wiring, and didn't have to cut any vehicle wiring.
