Out of luck for the Tundra calipers that fit the 16 in wheels. However, we did ok..

Its amazing how different areas and environments effect part supplies. Our interiors and drivetrain head south and the chassis rot up. All chassis parts are coveted here and extremely plentiful in the south.

I know you mentioned you use corroseal, have you found that it's better than the rest? Or, basically all rust converters are all the same and, corroseal is just cost effective? The one I've used in the past is Skyflo Ospho.

Corroseal is decent. However it's best to coat with something else after the corroseal is dry. Seemeds to be a working as a rust inhibitor. Just not as a top coat. Ospho been around a long time. I sure it's a grear product as well.

Corroseal is rated pretty high. I perfer it because its non toxic.

Inside the frame here I coat it all with corroseal then when welded shut I super coat everything inside with FF. Any of the rust prevention solutions should work fine as the frame is hole free when I done.

I did get the bottom plate welded in on the back. I have to cut 2 outer plates. Then weld the outer frame back on as well..

The CJ7 crew would flood the frame with linseed oil and flip and turn the frame to coat the inside.

Dad used linseed oil to coat his cement tools. They never rusted.

I flood the frame with FF. Any good rust inhibitor will do.

For a Do it yourself project. My frames are good. I prefer the internal plates and I make a U out of the plates inside. Yet at the same time seal all the frame holes. Seems to work the best out of all the other frame fixes.

[MENTION=318903]RandyBobandy[/MENTION] put the outer plate on by the Pipe. He getting a lot better at welding as the only way to get better is to do it.

Tetanus 1 got a new set of mud and snow tires on...seem to work very well

Tetanus 1 got its oil change. Hit the 270k mark. Not bad for original drivetrain minis 3 radiators.

My only experience I have driving on snow and ice is when I drove from Sac to Lake Tahoe after they opened back up the 50 after a break from a snow storm.

Snow tires (not studded) are amazing! I was watching a vid of a 2wd with snow tires and a 4wd without snow tires. Accelerating , braking, turning. Snow tires made all the difference. I don't have to deal with snow every year so it was an eye opener for me.
