Yes and with the curves made it easier to rebuild buy using the weld to do it.

I am not sure. It's always the torque that can get you. It should at least be sealed now and will be ready for its top coat...

Tetanus 1 got the 02 grille update along with 02 headlights. I pulled the rear axle housing out and need to fix up a few things since I threw this one together in 2015. This was the first frame repair I did by myself. Now this was before switching to inside plating. So folks will be able to see why I recommend plating on the inside vs outside. This was experimental

Now this coil plate came loose on me 5 or 6 years ago. I welded it to hold it there. However you can see it's at least 1/2 to 5/8 inch too high on the end here. So I Sawzall the weld through. So I can hold it back into proper position then I plate the inner frame rail and the rear weld I cut to keep it in the proper place

The passenger side is now plated inside with 1/8 plate. You can see how the inside rail needed some metal. With a 1/8 on the outside as well that coil spring bracket isn't going anywhere well unless it rusts to dust. Now I have to grind it all down. Check for pin holes and continue on.

Hey Brillo - remind me on how you coated the inside of your frame with Corroseal. Did you use a garden sprayer or ?
Or maybe you didn't?
I'm starting to get to that point on my frame and have watched several videos but no one has a definitive answer on best approach for spraying it. Not sure how else to get it in the frame...

I use wool wax guns with air compressor to spray fluid film. What you going to spray in the frame. I suggest you try to get all the dirt and rust first out. Before coating.
I just paint corroseal on with brushes. You probably could use a garden sprayer with that if you want.

Well my emergency brake cable lost the bracket next to the upper control bracket. Being that's kinda super important for functionality. I saved a bracket off of [MENTION=318903]RandyBobandy[/MENTION] that he just cut off his locker axle housing.
Threw it in evaporust. Sliced it with my sawzall. Slid it over the cable. Then welded it back together by welding for a second. Then pouring water on it to cool it down until I welded it back together.
Don't attempt this at all unless you can really weld super thin metal. I figured I had nothing to loose as it would be a new cable if it didn't work. As you can see in the last photo it was successful and my emergency brake cable functions properly.
