Just got home from a two day camp out on the Mogollon Rim. I did not do much wheeling as there were a lot of elk hunters out there and I did not want to ruin anyones hunt. There was a rather large bull elk a couple hundred yards from us singing his mating call waking us all up at 10pm. It was a lot of fun, but enough with the talking...
My daughter found a swing out in the middle of nowhere on a trail
Gave the ARB's a few good smacks through here
Caught a Horny Toad (Horned Lizard for the educated types) and my daughter named it Pocahontas

Here is a video going up a 19-22% incline on loose rock. I believe this trail is used for ATV's as the first time up was quite a bit more difficult than the second time to record. It is hard to see in the video, but at that incline it almost feels as if you are falling backwards the entire time up and standing straight up the whole way down.

Heh, we gotta get you on some steeper stuff. The best is when you're going downhill and it's so steep the seatbelt locks, which is a good thing because that's the only thing keeping you from sliding forward onto the steering wheel. Moab isn't too far from Arizona...

I have been on steeper grades, but no inclinometer to measure them to know the degree. I had planned on Moab in July, but found out we were pregnant again so that had to be called off. Hopefully in about two years or so when the new baby is a little older (due in Dec)

Had my Magnaflow 12586 muffler welded on today. I am indifferent on the sound as of now. Seems to drone a bit, but it is brand new so I will see how it is next week. Not much of a throaty sound that it seems to be in the videos I have heard it in. Hopefully that changes as the exhaust shop kept the stock muffler so I am stuck dealing with it if it bothers me later.

I do not think they kept it for any reason other than not thinking I wanted it back. Honestly, I did not care as I do not want it laying around here. It will just suck if I decide to not keep the Magnaflow on. I do not hate it, so that probably will not happen anyway. Most of my buddies have big diesels, as did I previously, so my idea of a great sounding exhaust is not capable with this vehicle anyway. I will let my wife drive it down the road so I can listen from outside and it will probably sound fine.

Exhaust is growing on me. A side note, my previous 10-15 fill ups were around 16-17 MPG, the past two were 18. I was also driving harder over this tank to hear the exhaust more. It is said that the exhaust doesn't help MPG's, but we will see.
