Hello everyone and welcome to my new build. I never thought I'd actually do it, I have sold the donkey. I had an offer I couldn't pass up. I sold her for $4300 and the buyer let me keep my locker, tires, and radios. So I after a few days looking around, I found a replacement that stuck out at me. A 2001 4wd sr5. I picked it up for $4400. It was hard letting the old one go but, in time this thing will be better.

Here are the specs for new one-
2001 sr5
center locker
leather seats
color: GOLD

Here is the day I picked it up-





So the first thing that needed to be done was to get rid of the running boards.

Week one: So I set off to work right away in weekend one, I had a limited amount of time to swap over the parts. I went over to SamSter0077's house and Tengu and Robmills72 came over to help out.

The Task:
Swap over brakes, rims and tires
Swap over locker

ive got the exact same one, you seem pretty knowledgeable in figuring out problems but let me know if you have any questions about the cb.

-I am very sad to say that I'm stepping out of the 4Runner domain for now and moving on to an FJ Cruiser. It's kind of a bittersweet feeling, yes it is nice to have a new car yet, when I drive this truck I fall in love with it all over again, its bad in the best ways possible. I miss this truck already. I will occasionally post updates to my new rig on this thread. Here are a few updates to brodie over the last few months.​

Tore a hole in the radiator off road and had to ditch the truck at a gas station, the next day we preformed a parking lot radiator swap.

It was a hard decision indeed. The new ride is a 2011 4x4 with rear e locker. It has 37,000 miles on it and we picked it up for only $25,500 because the dealer accidentally marked it down. The salesman said it's worth $31,000 and I believe it. It was actually already sold but the buyer hadn't signed for if yet so we snuck in. I was about to buy a 2008 manual 4x4 with 60,000 miles on it for $21,000 but it made way more sense to go with the 2011. It was a smokers car but other then that, it's in great condition and I am happy with it. Let the modding begin!
