my name is ben. i bought my '90 on cinco de mayo. I've always had lowered cars and its nice to get in something you can actually drive anywhere. I've always loved the old runners and i knew it was time to start my restoration on my bmw. so now its parked and the 4runner is my daily.

did some reading on the forums and found the head gasket recall. so i took it to toyota and they found my block was pitting in the water jackets. so they replaced my block, replaced all the gaskets, did a head job, and put it all back together.

Welcome, glad to have you posting.

I bet your BMW was faster than the 4Runner. What's with the rear wheel camber, though?

who cares its just a dumb beemer

You must've become a moderator because of your charming, tolerant demeanor (LOL). KidV, it's probably just like any of those "sport imports" when they're lowered too far--you need an adjuster of some sort to bring the camber back into specs.

im sorry i just done get people putting tiny or OVERLY large wheels on cars its just stupid and makes the car look like it should be in shriners or the circus.
just my opinion and we are all allowed a opinion

Not by a whole lot. The BMW is a slow automatic. No balls at all. I think my old xB had more power. The rear camber was so I could get that low, without hitting the body with the tires.

Just trying to show you guys a little bit about me. I agree with the tiny wheels and OVERLY large wheels. That's why I'm only running 17's. Apparently you also have great taste in cars. Thus the RX7. I bet it's a dream. To each it's own. Some people love old vintage european luxury, some love old Japanese "sports" cars. Some are more into the looks and styling of a car. some build their car to make up for another department they are lacking in. Which usually goes along with being an E-thug and belittling people.

BV, you can have all the opinions you want and more power to you. You don't need to be insulting about it. Poor form, dude.
