broken taillight. what to replace with?

So my girlfriend sideswiped a car and busted out my passenger side tail...so these are my options...


Blacked out altezza

Replace with oem (maybe tint them)

Newer led tails

Edit: Read the thread I linked to. These are Genuine OEM Toyota LED taillights.
These aren't the cheap aftermarket tailights like some are selling on eBay.

OEM LED's all the way dude. Spring for OEM (don't buy cheap aftermarket ones on eBay) as you will regret buying the aftermarket ones.

The Toyota OEM 06-09 LED tails are the same. There were no changes, same part number.

The LED brake lights are one of the brightest I've seen on any vehicle. The turn signals are bright too. The reverse lamp lens is smoked (which looks good, but personally I think the 03-05 reverse lamp lens were better at providing more light). Overall, the 06-09 tails are an improvement over the 03-05 tail lights. I definitely like them better than my OEMs.

It's too bad that Toyota did not overhaul the 3rd brake light and make that LED too. It's seems dull compared to the LED brake lights and the 03-05 brake light. (I don't have a spoiler).

Is this on the right side of your runner? If so we are twins:wow:... (cept my brake light was replaced a while ago..still have the scar). And mine runner is reallllllly dirty.

I don't know... a Tinted/Smoked Tailight wouldn't look bad on Dark Grey, or Black 4Runners I would think.
