Bronze Idea

Hey all,

I looked at some of the TRD wheels and got hooked on the bronze color awhile back.. Before I spend some money/sand my corroding wheels and paint them I figured I'd post up some before/after photo-chopped stuff to see what y'all think and get any recommendations. Heck, I may just leave them be.

And, of course while posting, I noticed that my front looks more gold than the bronze wheels... so use that imagination and picture those emblems and that front lower part as dark as the wheels.....

Plasti dip them, then paint on top of that, works great, have done it for years.

This was my last color, depending on how the light hits it, looks different

I just went back to gray this weekend. Don't have any current pics, but here is an old one. Easy to change colors this way.

very interesting and good idea... I will try that! My main concern for bronze was that it would grow old and I would lose interest a year down the road, but your way allows me to go back to stock with little issue... I shall try this! Thanks for the input!

Exactly my thoughts, and why i did that. 1st time held up for 2.5 years until I just got tired of it, had to use a strong pressure washer to remove.
