Brown is Beautiful. 87 4Runner for Sale.

Love the color on this for sale on ebag. Only ever saw this color on 60 series landcruisers. (called rootbeer or poo-brown ) And its got alot more going for it than the color too !!

Personally, that 4Runner is absolutely perfect to me. I love the color combo - it takes you back to the time just as it should when you drive something like that.

The story behind it rocks too. Gas log? Seriously? It's pristine. Looking forward to seeing how that listing ends.

that is a nice color combo on a nice runner.

as far as the gas log goes, i don't see the big deal. i keep one myself. it's a pretty good way to find out how a vehicle is running, especially if there is a significant change in mileage with no obvious explanation (day of wheeling, etc). except mine is now on a spreadsheet. i've driven my 4runner 9463 miles in 2014, averaging 20.6 mpg.

23 MPG that's really good, i wonder if that truck is still getting the same MPG today.

My 87 with a lift and 35's gets about 18 mpg and that's with me driving with a heavy foot. I bet if I put it back to stock (no lift or tires) I would get mid 20's.

I get 21 freeway with 33s and 5.29s. I agree with SV, 25 mpg wouldn't be out of the question for a stock 22re/5speed truck.
