Anyone interest? 1st or 2nd weekend in July are open for me.

Run Brown Mtn Saturday then Richlands on the way home Sunday. Both trails can be done in stock 4x4s.

Id be interested in a meet up for a weekend? Im actually going to be out in Blowing Rock/ Boone and have found some trails/roads I plan to check out off Globe Rd and 90 down through Mortimer area... Anybody local to that area?

Not a local, but have driven several roads in the area. The road/trail I posted above is in the same area, just above mortimer.

When are you thinking?

Don't have a firm plan - early November would be good. I'll take a look at the family schedule and post a date to see if others can make it. Let me know when you can make it and i'll be sure to match up the date.

Would love to head out that way. Not sure when I can, but it looks fun.

Went there with 2 guys from Hendersonville on Tuesday 4/26. My first time wheeling.
WOW it was great. actual trail time took us about 2 hrs but I'm sure I slowed them down due to my inexperience. and later we had to stop for a minor repair of his 4 runner.
I have no experience concerning other trails but this one is GREAT, and I will def go back again

Brown Mountain OHV is just west of Wilson Creek.

Old House Gap Road, the video linked a few posts above, is closed at least until fall.
