So today i had my radio installed at a shop and also had the windows tinted there
So this is how it looks now as i drive it

I did not have him put the trim back on as i had it off and am replacing the light bulbs on some switches and panel that were out
I will also be adding 12 volt outlet and some usb plugs
I am still looking for some that i like and will work
I am looking to put them on the panel just to the lower eight if ac controls
Anyone put them there????
Had the windows tinted up front
I might want the rears done and blacked out , but don't know the laws or want to get pulled over

Got my ny reg today and put the backup cam where it will stay
Now i just have to wire it and run the wires one day if it ever stops snowing

Next up will be to fix he doors locking all the time
And the 12 outlets hot all the time mod
And will run wiring up front for all future switches
Anyone know where to get nice factory switches
I know all about ottrawa
 
Looking good! Coming along nicely, Gotta love those weathertechs Couldn't of installed em at better time! I just put mine in a week ago and i'm loving them!

yes the ups man has been and will be very busy here the next week or so.....
now i just need to wait until the meltdown..to tear the front end apart....
install the oba. ect......
now i need to learn how to work said radio.....
all i know at this point. is it plays radio stations.....
i will pull it out tomm and run the sensor lines for rear view cam and also a on/off/on switch for it.......
yea i am loving the weather techs
i also got the window deflectors and sunroof one...but need to wait until warmer weather to install.

Not gonna try to explain how to redo locking door but it does in your manual if it still has one ! But check in secrets of 4th gen for help . Found out all kinds of cool shit .

yea i wrote that wrong...thats where i found allot of these mods....
i just hate the doors always being locked
seems everytime i get out and need something the dam doors are locked....
so i am going to do that mod and also the 1 click unlock mod....
another 3-5" of snow on way tomm so...we will see what i get done

Ya, women are expensive, especially that one. She made up for by being 21, having a great body and wanting it all the time.

She's long gone (after spending A LOT of my money) but I just figure I spent a bunch of money to have a ton of fun and take some good pics
 
Okay another rear view camera question
I would like to add a switch to have camera on at anytime
Thoughts
do i need a spst on/off/on switch?
or just a spst on/off switch

And what do you guys think about this location for 1 cig outlet and a double usb plug

I was thinking of making a panel in the middle pop open thing but decided this is much easier
And i can fit them perfect but have to stay just to the left and not centered in opening

So i drilled the holes today
Used an 1-1/8" bit
Worked perfectly
If my calculations are correct there should be little to no trimming of interior dash piece
I am still waiting on the double usb port to arrive so i can put the dash back together

SO TODAY i decided to change out my tensioner pulley and swap the belt and idler pulley due to crazy squeaking noises
ordered from rock auto last week had the parts sitting here
so i went for it....
removed the tensioner pulley and the new one was 1/2"-3/4" too small
fml
ok no problem i will take my bike to the store...oh wait i left my bike keys back at my apt.....
fml
put old belt back on..
drive to 3 stores to find one in stock
get it , put it on , put new belt on...
its a pita let me tell you, although i did get faster at it....
im bloddy, burnt, scraped up..but shes on and no more screaming sounds

ok now lets mount the backup cam for good and run the wires
no problem...wait MAJOR PITA.....
HOLY CRAP WHAT DISASTER ...
mounted the camera..poped the plastic piece off and cut gromet got wires into tailgate all is well
go to run wires down tailgate...what a PITA.....
leave the rca plug on the end you say...ok i tried that....rca cable torn in half
again FML.....
get cables run into top of tailgate...now to get them through the last rubber sleeve and into the roof area.....again omg PITA....
ended up slicing the rubber boot right where the clip is and tapped it up after....
well i now have power and ground and whats left of the video rca cable into back roof area.......
called it quits today before i punch something or someone....
went out for a ride on my bike.....:driving:
was it worth it to save $150 idk....
im getting older and i think next time i will let the guy at the radio store tackle it....
and i am only half done
now i need to wire a switch into dash and run lines to front and pray she works......
my runner looks like a bomb exploded in it.....
i will never run any other lines to the tailgate ever
