Update

Got her back together
Then found out she doesn't close after opening
Fml

Then broke out the dremmel

Gave a quick few tries opening and closing all was well
Then i put the rest of console back in and bam same problem
Errr
Then found out a new bulb i just pit in fell out somewhere as i have had the ac controls in and out 100 times this week
So back to toyo in the am

So no dvd's for me

Love the new cig and usb outlets tho
And i didn't have to cut anything behind the panel

Plus +1
to whom ever knows what these are used for

so i want new headlights
i want blacked out
i have no patience to make them, cook then, or whatever
i dont want to spend lots n lots of money
what are my options on buying off the shelf headlights....

Look in the blacked out headlights threads( there's 2 I think) in the one somebody posted a link to some ones that are sold on eBay that are already blacked out, i think there $200. Only other black ones I know are the ones that Zopperman has. I was going to get the ones off of eBay myself but then I just figured I would black them out myself and if for some reason they Get F'd up ill just purchase the ones off eBay

I have yet to see n e decent eBay lights.... They make me laugh there so poorly made and don't project light worth a damn but then again u get what u pay for...

also swapped my read brakes as they were shot....

i will be doing all new rotors and pads during summer..so there are the $20 wagner semi brake pads....

nice looking shocks.....

Also tried and test fit my air compressor
Looks good and i think i can still fit a winch solenoid up by power steering resi

Now to find a spot for tank
i need ideas for the exhaust.....
anyone.......
also need a place to mount my phone and what to mount it in......
also fund the reverse camera in the head unit kinda sucks....
i miss it in the mirror....its like taking your eyes off what your doing when its down there.....
anyone have a miror

i can only imagine trying to get the old ones off
but i need to reroute my exhaust for some wheeling and skids and such...
so i was figuring a nice new muffler would be nice bang for small $$...
had a v6 for the past 15 years....
if i am paying gas prices for the v8 id like a lil sound to go with it
hehe

so yesterday while working on the truck i noticed the driver side floor board was soaked in a spot...
errr
so i found the sunroof drains poured water in them ...they were clear
where else is their drains on these trucks?
for the sunroof i found to one on each side up front.....
i also ruled out the heater core..
also anyone know how to remove scratches from the clear plastic on the gauges

There's a lot of options for the v8 well a lot more or better then the v6 anyways , if you do a little searching on here the subject has been covered a lot in regards to the v8 ,,

If i where you i would just do a little research on a aftermarket muffler such as flowmaster,gibson,magna flo etc buy the muffler and then just bring it to a good muffler shop if you know one and have them do a custom reroute. Thats what i did and in total it cost me a couple hundred.

Search you tube a too for sound clips once you narrow down your options!

Don't know about the plastic gauges, maybe someone else can chime in?

Do like u said.... Put a muffler and go from there... If all your doin is the back section then yeah... If your gonna ditch the y I recommend some vibrant resonators... With the muffler.

In all honesty as long as u can fit it... It will keep the nois down but be awesome with performance.... I think on mine I was able to squeeze in a 24 in long muffler

I changed the plugs
Wasn't bad
Cleaned up the coil bolts
Looked worse then it was
A few plugs were to freaking tight
Dint think someone used antisieze or they were original
Unsure
Rusted coil bolts

This is how i instal the new ones

Here is the old plugs

Also did an oil change
Oil looked brand new, but i decided to change it anyway so i know its been done
I do need a bigger oil pan tho
Almost over flowed 6-6.5 q

Installed my ez drain
Love this thing

Still got the wet carpet thing going on
Checked the radiator and it was right to the top
Ac drain - i have yet to see it drip

Tried to clear drain with this but could only get it in 5"
(Let the jokes fly)

Wanted to cleanup the headlights
Took seriously 2 mins to go from this

To this meguires plastic polish and a rag

Finished installing my moog bushings in my lcas

This is how i do them "install"

I picked up some of this but haven't used it yet

Anyone know what this is

so i still have the wet driver side carpet going on.....
i tried cleaning out the ac drain but could only get the weed eater cord in about 5"
i was thinking of using a piece of wire, but i do not want to damage anything..
i have check all roof drains and all are well...
pretty much ruled out the sunroof......
im down to ac drain... or windshield....
anyone know how to remove the windshield trim without destroying it or breaking windshield?

i also do not think i have enough room on my roof rack to install all my goodies:ybrick:

i also would like to remove the factory racks when it gets warmer out to paint them
any tips on removal and painting them.......
i hear there are seals for them i should check for leaks as well....
any help is greatly appreciated

That pic of the block drain is exactly that.. to drain the water , coolant, from around the jackets on that side of the block...

What do you need up there? It's 2 bolts per corner. Be really careful when you pop those caps off. There's 2 little clips on each side, take off the outside ones with a panel tool or screwdriver or similar to access the bolts.
